The sixth series of the locally and internationally successful detective mystery series, The Brokenwood Mysteries has gone to air in New Zealand on Prime TV thanks to funding from NZ on Air.

Running since 2014, The Brokenwood Mysteries is also enjoyed viewing in 16 different countries around the world.

A New Zealand detective, drama series set in the fictitious New Zealand town of Brokenwood and filmed in the greater Auckland region, Tim Balme conceived the series and is lead writer alongside Philip Dalkin, James Griffin and Greg McGee.
