Green Day to release Greatest Hits album

 Green Day will release GREATEST HITS: GOD’S FAVORITE BAND on November 17.

The collection includes 20 hits spanning the band’s 21 year career, plus a brand new song called ‘Back In The USA’ and a new duet with country music superstar Miranda Lambert on ‘Ordinary World.’

The album chronicles the sonic journey of the band, formed in 1986 in Berkeley, CA. Green Day achieved breakout success with 1994’s DOOKIE which has sold over 10 million copies to date in the U.S. alone.

Widely credited with popularizing and reviving mainstream interest in punk rock, Green Day released the rock opera AMERICAN IDIOT in 2004 which captured the nation’s attention and sold more than six million copies in the U.S. 

Green Day's 12th studio album REVOLUTION RADIO was released on October 7, 2016 and debuted at No. 1 in the US and the Official NZ Music Charts.
