Iconic NZ musician, Sharon O'Neill will be inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.
The singer-songwriter will be awarded at the 52nd Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards, celebrating the impact a Kiwi artist has had in the New Zealand music world.
O'Neill has been awarded the Top Female Vocalist at the NZ Music Awards for three consecutive years, in 1978, 1979 and 1980.
O'Neill is well known for her hit single 'Maxine' 'Asian Paradise' and 'Words', and her first 2 albums won multiple music awards, plus her soundtrack to the movie Smash Palace also won Best Soundtrack in 1982.
