Jon Toogood’s critically acclaimed collaborative project, The Adults, releases its next single ‘Take it On The Chin’ from the highly anticipated new album - HAJA.

Jon approached award-winning artist Kings to feature on the track after hearing his music while in New Zealand. Kings didn’t disappoint, and his rhymes were so good that ‘Take It On The Chin’ became a completely reverse engineered tune. The Sudanese music Jon wrote the track around ended up being taken out of the final track (apart from a tiny vocal loop they left in at the end to show where it all came from) just leaving the music he wrote around it on its own.

HAJA was produced with Devin Abrams (Pacific Heights/Shapeshifter) and Jon himself, in Devin’s Wellington studio.
