0n what would have been Prince’s 60th birthday, the Prince Estate in collaboration with Warner Bros. Music, release previously unheard music from Prince, recorded in his home studio in 1983.

‘Mary Don’t You Weep’ is a rare recording of a 19th century spiritual classic by a music legend, presented how it was originally recorded over 35 years ago.

The release of ‘Mary Don’t You Weep’ follows on the back of the successful release of the original studio version of the Prince classic ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ in April of this year.

The Prince Estate serves to present Prince’s life and work, and celebrate his groundbreaking cultural impact.
