Lil Uzi Vert drops new single 'Sauce It Up'

Rap phenomenon Lil Uzi Vert played his first ever New Zealand show this week at the Logan Campbell Centre.

Lil Uzi also releases ‘Sauce It Up’, the latest single off his debut album LUV IS RAGE 2.

Uzi’s rapid rise to fame began in 2015 when he was just 20. There was his explosive appearance on Carnage’s single ‘WDYW’ alongside A$AP Ferg and Rich The Kid and later spending the America summer priming the crowd for Wiz Khalifa and Fall Out Boy on their Tour.

Things were taken to a whole new level following the release of his first mixtape, LUV IS RAGE earning Uzi international fandom and critical acclaim from such high profile outlets as The Fader, Noisey, XXL, and VIBE, which applauded Lil Uzi Vert for “depicting street life from the perspective of a young kid trying to flourish in a city plagued with drugs, violence and police brutality.”
