Thomston – aka 22-year-old New Zealand artist and producer Thomas Stoneman – has revealed his new single’ The Heights’.
An elevating, weightless pop song, Thomston’s latest offering comes after a self-described “dark period”, but the track is surprisingly uplifting.
With its anthemic chorus and self-assured lyrics, Thomston isn’t pretending that he has it all worked out, but that he is, in his words, going to “turn the curveballs into something productive”.
The Heights follows Thomston’s well-received single from earlier this year, ‘Acid Rain’, which marked his first solo music in two years and amassed over four million streams in as many months.
