They owned it at yesterday's Laneway Festival in Auckland. The War On Drugs now release their second official single, ‘Pain.’

It happens to be one of two songs Adam Granduciel cut, nearly-live, on his first night working with engineer Shawn Everett and the band at Sonora Recorders in Los Angeles, a new experience for the sextet, and a testament to the band dynamic on this new album.

Their Grammy Award winning fourth album A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING was met with critical acclaim in 2017, leading to much excitement around their appearance at Laneway Festival.
