Christchurch based singer/songwriter Bryony Matthews shares 'Alexander', the second single from her forthcoming album Little Queen, due for release on May 5th.
Matthews writes unique, considered, lyrics-focused folk-pop offerings, with her band lending an upbeat ambiance to the songs.
About 'Alexander' Matthews says, "I wrote this at the beginning of the relationship that I am now in. It's the happiest song on the album and it's about finding love that is pure and balanced and healthy and growing together in these ways ... my classic love song."
Matthews' catchy double tracked vocals punctuate warm washes of electric guitar propelled by buoyant percussion.
She enlisted Dictaphone Blues front man Eddie Castelow to produce her forthcoming album bringing drummer AJ Park and guitarist Adam Hattaway along for the ride.
