Vodafone NZ Music Awards Winners Announced

The Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards celebrated their 51st year at Auckland's Vector Arena last night.

The red carpet was rolled out for Kiwi musicians, media, local celebrities and the music industry.

Bic Runga received the NZ Herald Legacy Award for her extensive music career. The Sway hit-maker was also inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.

Lawrence Arabia took out the Best Alternative Album category with his album Absolute Truth.

NZ Herald Legacy Award: Bic Runga

NZ Music Hall of Fame Recipient: Bic Runga

Best Rock Album 2016: Villainy, Dead Sight

Best Alternative Album 2016: Lawrence Arabia, Absolute Truth
