With his new album Swing The Lantern set for release in New Zealand on November 19th, Greg Johnson has released a new single 'Why Won't Love Give In' and accompanying video.

'Why Won't Love Give In' is an emphatic and catchy tune that really gets under the skin. The video is a frenetic melange of media footage depicting historic moments of war, peace and heroic figures interspersed with the plaintive Mr Johnson himself.

Songs from the new album were written in the year prior to recording and many were road tested at Greg’s various shows during that time, a tried and true indication of what works and what doesn’t.

Johnson's catalogue of over 300 songs includes many kiwi classics such as “Isabelle”, “Don’t Wait Another Day”, “Swagger” and “Now The Sun is Out” with several becoming radio hits in New Zealand and the US.
