Southland duo Into The East have been touring NZ this April/May, to celebrate their huge first year foray in the NZ Music arena.
Since bursting onto the scene as a pair of Southern unknowns in 2013, Into The East have garnered a strong following thanks to their tight performances & crystalline sound that has been described as ‘Fleetwood Mac with the poetic & harmonic charm of Simon & Garfunkel’.
In the 10 months since debuting their album Fight From the Inside, Into The East have perpetually toured NZ, picking up nominations for the 2014 Tui for Best NZ Folk Album, Album of The Year & Band of The Year at the Southland Entertainment Awards & more recently, a nomination for the highly regarded Taite Music Prize.
