Modern Chair's music is an amalgam of ham-fisted guitars, dumb drums and dirty vocals.

 Their debut single 'Tokyo Compression' transports us to a frenetic 90's tokyo subway. A pummeling drum-beat informs the propulsive bass, electric wails, beeps, static and screeching vocals, evoking the methodized chaos of an implacable metropolis.

Modern Chair's bustling video is a collection of acquired vintage Tokyo footage spliced together to echo the urban frenzy of the track.
