JENNIFER ZEA

Hailing from Venezuela by way of Detroit and from a melting pot of musical influences comes the esteemed neo-Latino singer/song writer Jennifer Zea.

Her unique mix of Bossa Nova, Cuban rhythms, Caribbean Boogaloo and Soul has put her on the map as a unique and new Latin female singer. Captivating audiences with her deep, soulful and mesmerizing voice, Jennifer is a cantante with the rare ability to improvise, as well as inhabiting the songs she performs.

Performing alongside greats such as Nicolas Folmer (France), Djalma Correa (Brazil), Jennifer has recently worked alongside New Zealand born internationally renowned multi-instrumentalist and producer Nathan Haines in the creation of her debut album “The Latin Soul” due for release early 2012.

As an artist steeped in the tradition of Latin and Soul rhythms, Jennifer intertwines many influences into her music, and has taken this across the world, relocating to New Zealand several years ago.
